Reviews and content policy

1. What this covers

It covers customer reviews and ratings, app feedback, bakery listings including menus and gallery images, design briefs and reference pictures, quotes, and messages sent through an order.

2. The rules

• Write about your own experience, honestly.
• No personal data about other people, and no naming staff in a way that identifies them.
• No hateful, harassing, threatening, obscene or discriminatory content.
• No spam, advertising, or repeated posting to damage a bakery.
• No images or designs you do not have the right to use.
• Nothing unlawful, and nothing that misleads customers about what a bakery offers.

3. Who can review

Only the customer whose order it was can review it, and only once the order is completed. One review per order, so ratings stay comparable between bakeries.

4. Moderation

• We can remove or hide content that breaks these rules, and we may block accounts that keep breaking them.
• Reviews stay on a listing while it is live; if a listing is suspended we may hide its reviews until it returns.
• Bakeries cannot edit or delete a review. If a review is untrue in a factual way, the bakery can reply through us and we will look at the order record.

5. Your words and pictures

You keep ownership of what you post. You give CakeConnect permission to show it in the app — a review on the bakery's page, a bakery's own logo and photographs in its listing — and, for bakeries, to feature the listing when we promote the marketplace.

Please do not upload a photograph belonging to another person, another bakery, or a licensed character or artwork you do not have permission to use. A bakery that owns a design can ask us to remove a copy of it.

6. Reporting content

Report content through the contact page and tell us where you saw it and why. We will review it, take it down where it breaks these rules, and tell you the outcome. If a report is about an order, include the order number so we can check the record.
